Hello KG2 C! 

We have reached the middle of the week and all of you are doing a tremendous job at working from home! It is SO cool to see your work that your Moms are sending to me! Keep up the effort- as I always say- KG2 C is the BEST!!

Good morning KG2C!

I hope that you are all well and that you are enjoying this time at home? I miss you all very much!

We will be doing our learning in a new way while the school is closed. This is a fun challenge for all of us. Everyday I will post the work that you need to do on the blog and you will do it at home with the help of an adult.

I am looking forward to seeing your work!

Learning Continues in KG2 C!

We continue to march forward into the next month with more learning and fun! Moving on from 2D Shapes into 3D Shapes- we explored their attributes and experimented whether they roll, stack or slide. We recorded our finding and tabulated them on to a chart.

Also, we introduced the concept of Skip Counting by 2 and the children used number lines to show their understanding of the concept. 

In Guided Reading, the children read and watched the story "Elmer". It is about the adventure of an elephant with patchwork on him and what he does about it. After watching, the children retold the story and put the pictures in sequence showing their understanding of the concept of 'beginning, middle and ending' of a story. Way to go everyone!
